REPORTER:

the Site Preparation Contract would be going out in the first-quarter of 1991. Well according to your Information Office, the pre-qualification of the contractors who have applied for this project is not even complete yet.

So, you know, we are in the third-quarter in September

that's only a few weeks away.

MR RICHARD ALLEN: Yes, the pre-qualification was submitted by the interested contractors approximately two months ago. We have not yet decided who is pre-qualified and what the short-list will be, that is in the

the process of completion but will be completed in the next few weeks, well in time to have discussions

with any of those parties and to enable us to go out to tender to

those consortia.
