2. CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT DIVISION

Objectives

The Corporate Development Division has the following key objectives:

The development of a long term strategy for the Authority;

The development of business plans establishing the public and commercial business initiatives of the Authority;

The management of external relations in a manner which ensures the provision of information to the public and media

in an accurate, timely fashion; and

The management of the corporate image of the Authority in

a manner which ensures support from the Authority's key stakeholders.

Functional Responsibilities

The Division will be responsible for the following principal functions:

Managing both internal and external resources in the development of long term strategy;

Managing a thorough public relations effort involving both internal and external resources; and

Coordinating across the organization in the development of business plans in a manner consistent with overall strategy.
