At frontal gates,
The terminal at opening day includes the 42 frontal gates and 18 remote gates. passengers board aircraft via airbridges connected to the boarding lounges in the concourse. For remote gates, travellers wait at the remote gate boarding lounges, located at the beginning of the concourse, before being shuttled by bus to the aircraft. However, use of the remote gates will be minimal and on the busiest day of the year would affect only three per cent of passengers.
Shuttle Stations
Passengers destined for gates on the west end of the concourse can, if they wish, reach their gates by taking the train shuttle sometimes referred to as a people mover. After clearing security and arriving in the Departures Hall, these passengers walk a short distance to the centre of the Hall where escalators take them down to the shuttle platform. The station has an open design to allow passengers to maintain their orientation and to bring in light and air.
At the edge of the platform, walls with automatic sliding doors which line up with the train's automatic doors, separate passengers from the track area to provide safe, secure and uninterrupted operations.
Lifts are provided in both stations for the handicapped.

Passenger Flow: Arrivals
The passenger terminal is designed to provide a linear, one direction passenger flow from aircraft to landside transport.
Concourse Arrivals Mezzanine
Passengers deplane via airbridges directly to the Arrivals mezzanine. Once on the mezzanine, the processing terminal or the west shuttle station is reached by using moving walkways or by walking.
Shuttle Stations
Passengers deplaning at gates on the west end of the concourse can reach the processing terminal by taking the people mover. The western station is reached by moving walkways or walking down the Arrivals mezzanine. An escalator then tranfers travellers to an open, airy platform two levels below. Automatic doors allow safe and efficient entry to the trains. Upon arrival at the east station, escalators lead up to the entrance to the processing terminal at the Arrival level. Elevators for the handicapped are provided here as well.
Remote Gates
Passengers arriving at remote aircraft parking positions deplane and board buses which quickly move them back to the concourse. There is then a short walk to the processing terminal.
Immigration
Immigration inspection is located at the entrance to the processing terminal. There are 126 positions and their layout is designed to provide rapid transit for arriving passengers. Signage will indicate the appropriate booths close to the baggage reclaim device for their flight, thus minimizing confusion and walking distances.
