Now until we can get further information from the result of the talks in Geneva which will then, when they have progressed to a certain stage, be followed by talks in Vietnam because one would have to tie up the deal there, they one would be able to release more information, but at the middle of a negotiation such as this it is too difficult to know any of the answers, it is just

So not even some rough idea about how money will be spent

on the centre?

But recently the British Government has pledged £6 million

to the UNHCR to work for the boat people stranded in Hong Kong. How would part of this contribution will be

allocated into the holding centre which will be built in

Vietnam?

What we want to do is to spend the taxpayers money that we are putting to help solve this problem, into the best way

and the most efficacious way to get a result. What we have

done is we have pledged to the UNHCR £6 million in

three tranches. We want to use that money in the best way to help solve this problem. Now how that money is actually going to be spent hasn't been decided yet because we haven't got an internationally managed centre, so it can't be spent there, the first tranch will undoubtedly be spent in Hong Kong to try and relieve the situation there to the

maximum amount for the money that is available.

So how many money will be spent in easing the problem at detention centre in Hong Kong, I mean concerning the £6 million?
