The agreement provides us with the
certainty we need to get on with and manage
the projects in an effective wav. There is
now an understanding between the two sides
on the kev projects connected with the
airport
-
the Airport Core Programme. So
that goes ahead. There are sensible
arrangements for dealing with the question
of Government borrowing stretching bevond
1997. and for dealing with Government
quaranteed debt, and on handling franchises
and contracts which go beyond 1997.
