HONG KONG AIRPORT PROJECT
I had a useful exchange of views with Joseph Halligan today on his letter of 7 November to Andrew Burns.
Although we did able to agree to the response to
not see eye to eye on every detail, we were some modifications to his suggested inserts to No 10 which you are co-ordinating. I attach re-types of the various paragraphs including a new opening sentence to the first ECGD Cover paragraph to take in Joseph's wording in his paragraph 2.
I have been unable to contact you by telephone but will try again to ring you with this contribution as I understand you are under pressure to proceed.
