Brief Scope of Contract

Civil Engineering

1. West Kowloon reclamation - Construction of

Yau Ma Tei Replacement Typhoon Shelter Phase I

2. Airport Advance Works - formation of 29ha of

land including 15 ha of reclamation, construction of a 650m long seawall, in the bay area of northern Chek Lap Kok to provide a site to house workers' accommodation and other facilities as preparatory works for the airport construction.

3. West Kowloon Reclamation

Construction of Yau Ma Tei Replacement Typhoon Shelter Phase II and Jordan Road Reclamation Phase I (Contract No. CV/90/09) – construction of about 4,000m of vertical seawall/revetment, reclamation of about 69ha of land and reprovisioning of a public cargo working area. The reclaimed land is to provide the landfall for the Western Harbour Crossing, other airport related transport infrastructures and other urban development.

4. West Kowloon Reclamation - Northern Area

Phase I (Contract No. UA5/90) – reclamation of about 38ha and construciton of 1700m of seawall adjacent to Tai Kok Tsui/Sham Shui Po to provide land for the West Kowloon Expressway, the airport railway and other developments as well as construction of replacement ferry piers and marine facilities including market and cargo-handling piers.
