economic and legal environment for the maintenance of the
status of Hong Kong as an international financial centre.
It stipulates further in Article 110 that the Government
of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region shall, on

formulate monetary and financial policies and

The Basic Law stipulates in Article 111 and Article
112 that the Hong Kong dollar shall continue to circulate
and remain freely convertible; and that the existing

shall be applied in the Hong Kong Special Administrative
Region; and markets of foreign exchange, gold,
securities, futures and the like shall continue; and the

shall safeguard the free flow of capital within, into and

present here want to withdraw your money after 1997,
matter how big the sum is, all you need to do is to
