Cessation of Accompanied Service. Accompanied service has a direct bearing upon nearly all of the Supporting Arms and Services. Even if the size of the Teeth Arm elements does not reduce beyond the

level reached after the withdrawal of the second battalion, the end to accompanied service should allow a substantial reduction in the size of some of the Army supporting Arms and Services.
