Seeing' the police launch, the five men returned to their CPV which
followed the Hong Kong fishing vessel. The police launch told the
officer in charge of the CPV that they should leave Hong Kong waters and
the Hong Kong fishing vessel would be dealt with by the Hong Kong police.
The CPV left thereafter.

An operation was mounted against smuggling of vehicles
from Hong Kong to China. Police vessels intercepted a Chinese
registered vessel with seven stolen Toyota Crown cars and two Chinese
uniformed men on board, km off the Hong Kong at Tai Shui Hang, Deep
Bay.
Both men drew their automatic pistols from holsters and pointed at
the police officers. The Police revealed their identity and the pistols
were returned to holsters. The two Chinese uniformed men's identity
cards showed that one was an officer of the Nam Tau Anti-smuggling office
and the other was the Assistant Commander of unit 116 of Shekou Border
Security. Later a CPV speedboat came alongside and explained they had
arrested the Chinese registered vessel and insisted on taking it away.
In the end they backed down after a discussion with the Police officers
and left.
A police launch located a Chinese registered vessel with
