Visit of Mr Gu;; Chui -
Chairman (designate). Public Service Commission
You probably know that Mr Gus chui, currently Secretary for Recreation and Culture, will take over from Mr Eric Ho as the next Chairman of the Public Service Commission.
To better prepare himself for the new job, Mr Chui called us this morning and said he would like to meet the Chairman/Chief Executive of the UK Civil Service Cormission; to discuss policies and procedures. He would be in town from 19-30 April. We were asked to arrange the meetings.
As I do not have any contact in the UK Civil Service Commission, I should be most grateful for your advice on how I could take the matter further.
In view of the several Easter Holidays in between now and 19 April, I should be grateful for your early reply, so that the meetings can be arranged in good time.
