Sponsored Visit Programme
I enclose a list of parliamentarians to be invited
to visit Hong Kong in 1991-92 under our sponsored visit
programme, for your information. Our intention is to invite
a total of 13 parliamentarians for the year: 4 from Conservative, 8 from Labour and 1 from Liberal Democrats.
This list,
however, is subject to revision in the light of the response to our invitation.

Mrs Maureen Hicks, Gerald Kaufman and Adam Ingram have accepted our invitation; Lord Cledwyn has declined. The remainder of those asterisked has not yet replied.
