CALL ON LORD CAITHNESS BY OMELCO DELEGATION: 1000 HRS,
12 JUNE 1991
1. I submit a brief prepared by SEAD for the Minister's meeting with OMELCO members to discuss Vietnamese Boat
People.
2.
The delegation consists of Mrs Rita Fan, a member of the Executive and Legislative Councils, and three Legislative Council members: Mrs Elsie Tu, Mr Yin-Fat Hui and Mrs Peggy Lam. The delegation will be accompanied by Mr Alistair Lang, Head of the OMELCO office in London.
3. Lord Caithness will wish to see FCO telno 1094 and
Hong Kong telno 1876 (attached). Mr Tansley (SEAD) will provide a record of today's meeting the delegation had with.
the Secretary of State.
