CALL ON THE SECRETARY OF STATE BY LADY DUNN, 25 JUNE 1991
1. I submit a copy of the briefing we prepared for
Lady Dunn's (private) call on Lord Caithness on 19 June.
The only new points are Li Peng's reply to the Prime Minister and Sir P Cradock's visit to Peking
27-30 June. We expect the Deputy to the Governor to brief
EXCO on these in strict confidence, on 25 June, so the
Secretary of State may wish to put Lady Dunn in the picture
on the same basis.
