The Secretary of State has seen Hong Kong telno 2836 recording the Governor's hope that the Secretary of State could see him on Sunday, 13 October. The Secretary of State would be glad to offer Sir D Wilson dinner that evening. I am not yet sure of the venue, nor the format although I guess that the Secretary of State would like Sir David and Lady Wilson to dine with him and Mrs Hurd alone. confirm this nearer the time.
