Many thanks to those who responded to my minute of 7 November with points to make.
2. I attended the meeting of the CPA's Seminar and Visit Sub-Committee on 19 November. While there were some changes to the Branch Secretary's original recommendations these were due to CPA considerations and did not conflict with FCO
objectives. Secretary's original recommendations were in order to achieve an equitable regional balance for both the seminar and visit. (See annex A.) The final count, subject to fine tuning and last minute bids, stands as follows:
