A press conference will be held to announce Government's preliminary energy efficiency policy. following will be emphasized
(a) Government's strong commitment to energy efficiency;
(b)

all proposed policy options will require further study technically and in respect of their economic/social implications before implementation;
both
an advisory committee will be formed to follow this through; and
the various producers and consumers with material interests in the subject will be consulted as well as environmental and efficiency experts.
