SUBSTANTIVE APPOINTMENTS
103 Authorities for approving substantive appointments
(1) Chief Secretary
(a)
Annex II(b)
Appointments to offices up to Secretary, Government
Secretariat or equivalent level.
(b)
Approval is given in consultation with the Public
Service Commission when so required by the Public
Service Commission Ordinance and Regulations (Cap. 93).
(2)
Secretary for the Civil Service
(a) Appointments to offices below Secretary, Government
Secretariat or equivalent level.
(b)
These appointments may be approved by officers in the
Civil Service Branch to whom the Governor has delegated
his powers of appointment under Article XIV of the Hong
Kong Letters Patent, subject to the advice of the
Public Service Commission when so required by the
Public Service Commission Ordinance and Regulations
(Cap. 93).
