Legco. His job is to convene the In-House meeting and act
according to the decisions of the In-House
In-House meeting. As
such he has no role to lead. Anyone who has attended
meetings know that the Senior Member does not
lead, has по noxe power or authority than any other
Member. It is hard to see know there could be a conflict
In-House
of interest.
I am
nevertheless concerned that such views
exist. I also do not wish to be placed in a position to
have to defend myself. Above all, I believe this kind of unhealthy allegations and insinuations is damaging to the
overall image and standing of the Legislative Council at a
time when we should all be trying to enhance public
confidence in the Council.
I have, therefore, decided
