Amend the Independent Commission Against Corruption Ordinance.
Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and
consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
1.
Short title
This Ordinance may be cited as the Independent Commission
Against Corruption (Amendment) Ordinance 1991.
2.
Power of arrest
Section 10 (2) of the Independent Commission Against Corruption
Ordinance (Cap. 204) is amended
(a) by repealing "Ordinance," and substituting "Ordinance
(Cap. 201) or of a suspected offence under the
Corrupt and Illegal Practices Ordinance (Cap. 288)

and
(b) in paragraph (a) by adding "(Cap. 201) or the
suspected offence under the Corrupt and Illegal
Practices Ordinance (Cap. 288), as the case may be"
after "Ordinance".
Duties of the Commissioner
Section 12 (b) is repealed and the following substituted
" (b)
investigate
-
(i) any alleged or suspected offence under this
Ordinance;
