Returning officer's decisions in regard
to ballot papers
Regulation 49 is amended by adding "under Part VII of the
Ordinance" at the end.
6. Declaration of result
Regulation 50 is amended -
(a)
(b)
in subregulation (2) by repealing "the result" and
substituting "result of election"; and
by adding after subregulation (3)
-
"(4) The decision of the returning officer
as to the result of an election as declared by
him in the notice prepared under subregulation
(2) shall be final and shall not be questioned
in any proceeding whatsoever except by an
election petition under Part VII of the
Ordinance.".

Regulation 66(2)(a) is amended by repealing "or" at the
