you that I have appointed Mr. Albert LAM Chi-chiu, J.P., provisionally and subject to Her Majesty's pleasure, to be an Official Member of the Legislative Council with effect from 19 June 1991 during the absence of the Honourable Peter TSAO Kwang-yung, C.B.E, C.P.M, J.P.
Mr. LAM's previous appointment referred to in my despatch CO 10/1136/74 IV dated 30 October 1990 expired on 3 November 1990.
