1. I should be grateful for your views on Hong Kong telno 921 commenting on the latest Japanese drafts for a Hong Kong/Japan multiple entry visa agreement to facilitate business travel between Hong Kong and Japan.
2. I have already confirmed to the Japanese Embassy that we are content for Hong Kong to be the main channel of communication on this issue. But before replying to Hong Kong telno 921 I should be grateful to know whether you or MVD have any comments on the question of the termination date, the definition of business visitors or the proposal to delete Hong Kong from the 1957 UK/Japan Agreement subsequent to the new arrangement with Hong Kong.
