NATIONALITY FOR BDTCS HONG KONG AFTER 1997
1. I enclose a copy of a letter received from someone describing himself as an "Immigration Counsellor" in Hong Kong. I suspect that he is someone who has set himself up in what must be a thriving business in the colony these days. I seem to recall that whilst in Bermuda there was some correspondence from Eric Mattey asking that the Department be advised on any approaches made from Hong Kong for re- location in the other Dependent Territories.
2. If there is any "standard reply" that you would like
to be given in such cases perhaps I could be advised accordingly.
