LIST OF BRITISH UNDERTAKINGS
We spoke this morning.
Companies House have now completed a search on the first two lists of names. Lists which give initial findings will follow:-
The lists are split into four distinct categories:

C
companies on your lists which Companies House have confirmed are registered in the UK
on the basis of details provided by BTC
a list of parent companies which Companies House have confirmed are registered in the UK. Names of the proposed subsidiaries are also included, though it has not been possible to check the relationship
list of other institutions which we agree should be classed as British
Research to confirm that the companies are subsidiaries of UK companies is a lengthy process which is normally carried out by a commercial concern. HKD are looking into this and will obtain costs which they will let you have. We assume costs would be met by HKG to be recovered from applicants fees in due course.
We are still working on the remainder of your first two lists and have just started work on the third.
