The Governor has now made a decision on 49 outstanding Section 4 (5) applications, 39 of which have already been sent to you vide my letter of 25 November 1989.
His recommendation has been conveyed to FCO vide Hong Kong Telno 3337 of 13 November 1990. The Director of Immigration will be forwarding to you the 10 recent applications and a slightly revised summary of all
49 applications. You will notice that a new column on whether or not the applicant has been given an undertaking has been added on the summary.
