about Widows of Servicemen
The Secretary of State has seen an article in the Spectator of 7 July by William McGurn which criticises the Government for its treatment of widows of servicemen, and claims that there is inadequate provision for them in the Nationality Bill.
If we have a respectable story to tell, the Secretary of State believes that someone (? Mr Maude) should write to the Spectator, quickly.
