Up to 75 points can be awarded to an applicant if to there is an exceptionally high propensity emigrate
those serving in among
the relevant occupation or among a particular group of persons serving in that occupation.
A maximum of 50 points can be used to adjust scores where the circumstances specific to an Occupation merit adjusting the balance of points for age,
experience or education/training. For example, if the prime age band for an occupation is significantly different from that used in the general
scheme, extra

Points can be scored for publicly recognised and prestigious awards, both local and international, won in connection with an applicant's Occupation. Candidates will
score 10 points for each award received, up to a maximum of 30 points for 3 awards.
(ii) Voluntary work (maximum 30 points)
A maximum of 30 points can be scored for unpaid work with voluntary agencies in the social welfare, medical and educational fields. Service as members of the board of directors or management committees of an agency which provides or supervises educational or social welfare services to the public for a continuous period of not less than 3 years will score 6 points. Thereafter, each additional year of service will score 2 points.
