Hong Kong is a capitalist society with many
similarities to the UK.
Those judged to be "key" in Hong Kong are likely to have a similar degree of importance in the UK.
A high level of interest in the Scheme is expected but would not want to predict actual numbers.

HKG will make available sufficient resources to ensure that applications are dealt with speedily and efficiently.
Hong Kong Immigration Department (HKID) will be responsible for processing applications under the directions of the Steering Group.
Close involvement at all stages by ICAC. Regular spot checks by senior HKID staff. Each case will go through a series of stages involving progressively senior staff.
