Lord Derwent telephoned Mr Maude this afternoon to say that Simon Murray would be in London on 20 April. He asked whether the Bill was likely to be published by then; it would be important to exchange views on the detailed provisions of the Bill. Mr Maude agreed. He explained that he was hoping to visit Hong Kong before Easter and would have the
opportunity to see Mr Murray, and others, in Hong Kong then.
