I have proposed to add "the places allocated to each service may, at the discretion of the Governor, be divided into sub-quota by rank or job function". I have asked various heads of Disciplined Services to give me the reasons and details of their requirements for sub-quotas by rank. I shall revert to you as soon as possible.

To bring the occupational groupings more in line with ISCO,
we have slightly amended Document 6 handed ove: to you. We have proposed to change the title of Group II "Accounting and Financial Services" to "Accounting" in Appendix
In anticipation of MinisterS' approval, Appendix II has included groups 14, 15a and 22, as proposed by US, and the titles of the broad groups have been slightly revised in order to accommodate them.
