The Disciplined Service Scheme will cover six services: Correctional Services Department, Customs & Excise Department, Fire Services Department, Immigration Department, Independent Commission Against Corruption, Royal Hong Kong Police Force and Royal Hong Kong Auxiliary Air Force.

This Scheme will be given a total of 6,000 places in the first batch, yielding a success rate of about 14% for all disciplined services staff who are not already covered by the Sensitive Services Scheme (see para. 24). It will operate under a points system similar to that devised for the General Allocation Scheme (see para. 12 above).
