(F) British Links (Max. 50 points)
5 points may be scored for each of the following factors, up to a maximum of 50 points:
(i)
3 years previous residence in the UK (other than as a
tourist);
(ii) close relative (s) (i.e. spouse, child, parent, grand
parent, parent-in-law or sibling) who is a British Citizen or a non-British citizen settled in the UK;
(iii) having a UK-born ancestor or ancestors (either in the

(iv) having a child/children studying in the UK for 3 years;
(v) having a property in the UK;
(vi) holding investment of any kind in the UK of a value of
not less than £150,000;
(vii) being a membor (other than a otudent member) of a UK
professional body;
(viii) 10 years of Crown Service (and one additional point for
every two years of service thereafter);
(ix) having at least 10 years service in a service
designated under the British Nationality Act (e.g. British Trade Commission, British Council, British
Tourist Authority); and
