The Twelve made a community statement on 24 March, and the Presidency made a demarche on behalf of the Twelve on 26
March.
7. The Political Director (Mr Weston) was in Lithuania during the talks in Moscow on 28 March with Deputy Foreign Minister Adamishin. The Foreign Secretary also set out our concerns to the Soviet Ambassador, Mr Zamyatin, on the
afternoon of 28 March.
