5. I shall need minimal briefing for the Asian items - a list of suggested points to raise and relevant background papers will be sufficient for most items, though it would be hlepful to have a note of particular German angles/
preoccupations.
On the American side, I hope that Mr Beamish will be prepared to do most of the talking, but I should be grateful for points to make and such background papers as departments think I will need.
