PUS'S MEETING WITH DR SUDHOFF: 9 FEBRUARY
1.
I submit briefing for the PUS's meeting with Dr Sudhoff, an agenda and personality notes.
2. Dr Sudhoff will be accompanied by the German Ambassador, Baron von Richthofen, and Herr Brengelmann (First Secretary at the Embassy). Dr Klaiber (Minister Counsellor) will join
the discussions for lunch.
3. short, given the pace of developments: Sudhoff, who is close to Genscher, is likely to have insights to offer. (The brief is being submitted separately because of its classification). There are no particular bilateral issues which we expect to be raised during the tête-à-tête.
