Article 14: Right to due process under the criminal law

Some camp regulations have

sanctions attached to them which are

sufficiently severe to allow them to be characterised as criminal charges under this provision.

Article 17: The Right to a private and family life free from arbitrary or unlawful interference - The rules which regulate life in the camps should not be applied so as to break up families without good reason.

Article 19: The Right to Freedom of expression This is relevant to regulations which impose limitations on VBP corresponding with contacts abroad or in Hong Kong.
