The Freeze Period

A total of 24 DB

members spoke on the proposed

2-year freeze period. 6 of them were not in favour of any

freeze at all : the Ordinance, once enacted, should apply

across the board to all legislation. 9 members thought

that a shorter freeze would suffice. 7 members considered

the proposed freeze period acceptable, and 2 members

suggested a longer freeze period.
