COMMENTARY
Concern was expressed that this together with
transportation and public utility
other increases in
charges
would further fuel inflation which was already
at a high level.
Forthcoming wage settlements were
likely to be around 15% in the business sector and it
would be difficult to curtail these in the light of
staff shortages and the "brain-drain".
