FOREIGN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE: EVIDENCE SESSION ON 11 JULY
1.
The Clerk to the Foreign Affairs Committee has now forwarded proof copies of the evidence taken on 11 July in order to give the witnesses an opportunity to propose corrections to the record.
In examining the evidence, only such alterations should be made
as are:
(i)
(ii)
restricted to the correction of inaccuracies in the printing or reporting of the evidence, or
restricted to the correction of matters of fact which do not materially alter the general sense of any
answer.
Minor alterations to the style or grammar of any answer should not be made.
No question should be altered and should it be considered necessary to explain or give any additional information, it should either be submitted as a footnote to the evidence at the appropriate point, or as a supplementary memorandum.
2.
I need to submit a master copy of all corrections to the Clerk by Wednesday 25 July, and I would be grateful therefore if you and copy addressees could return the proof copies to me, duly amended, no later than 3 pm on Tuesday 24 July.
