expenditure and 14 per cent increase on capital expenditure for 1989-90) in the government grant to the BBC for the World Service?

Can you provide a breakdown of Vote 2, D1, 2 and 3 (Military aid). How is the expense of these items shared between MoD and FCO?

Can you provide a breakdown of Vote 1, AZ(8) (Receipts from Government Departments including receipts from ODA for Aid Administration)? How much is received from DTI to cover the cost of commercial work? How much revenue has accrued to the DTI in the past year from commercial work? This money is at present surrendered to the Consolidated Fund: are there any plans to reclassify this as negative expenditure?
How many staff in FCO posts (other than British Council and ODA staff) are seconded from other government departments? Are the salaries of seconded staff carried on the FCO's vote or on their department's vote?
