This session is one of the regular series held in advance of each EC 'summit' meeting. It will cover the likely agenda for the meeting of the European Council in Dublin on 25 and 26 June.
The Committee will also use the occasion to discuss developments on the Status of the Two German States since it took evidence from Mr Hurd on 4 April.

B. SINGLE EUROPEAN ACT
Government Reply
The Government's reply to the Committee's report on 'The Operation of the Single European Act' (Second Report of Session 1989-90, HC 1989-90 82-I) will be published on Tuesday 22 May as Cm 1077.
Inquiries relating to the Government's reply should be addressed to the News Department of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
Note: The Committee's report on the Operation of the Single European Act, which was published on 29 March, looked ahead to proposals for the next stages of the EC's Development.
