The 7 new functional constituencies will be:
the Urban Council;
the Regional Council;
Rural Interests
represented by the Heung Yee
Kuk;
Tourism:
Financial Services
comprising stockbroking,
commodities and futures trading, the Chinese Gold
and silver Exchange and the insurance sector;
the Construction and Real Estate industries; and
Engineering, which will be separated from an
existing constituency.
In addition, the existing Finance constituency is to be
expanded by the addition of both restricted licensed banks
and deposit-taking companies.
