CERTIFICATES

The levying of fees for consular services is defined in Consular DSP Volume 5 Part 1. Fees for particular services are detailed in the current 'Consular Fees Order', a Statutory Instrument that is updated regularly to reflect the cost of providing the services. The following fees are applicable to the issue of certificates of law:

For a standard certificate (see paragraph 5.2.2)

For a specially authorised certificate

UK AREAS OTHER THAN ENGLAND AND WALES

Enquiries about Scots, Northern Irish, Manx and Channel Islands law should be referred to the Nationality and Treaty Department.
