I would be grateful for any comments which you or copy recipients have on my proposals for the scope of the revised VAAS with Argentina and Austria. Could you also confirm whether my draft schedule for that with Argentina correctly reflects that proposal, and let me have similar schedules for the common format and 'lookalike' passports? (The objective, of course, is to give the FCO Legal Adviser the material he needs to draw up amendments to the agreement.) As FCO Ministers are concerned that negotiations over the Argentinian VAA should begin soon, could I ask for responses at least regarding that point, by 28 March?
