Article 25

The position continues to be as set out in the Constitution and in previous statements. The restrictions and disqualifications imposed by section 25 of the Constitution are considered to be reasonable and in the public interest and are generally accepted as such.

Article 26

33. There is nothing to add to what has been stated previously save that, and to the extent that, persons who belong to the Islands are accorded preferential treatment in respect of employment and allocation of government land, as stated in the general comments under part I of this report. actions are considered to be justified by article 1 of the Covenant.
