(c) He holds or is acting in any office the functions of which involve any responsibility for, or in connection with, the conduct of any election or the compilation or revision of any electoral register, or if he has any of the disqualifications from being registered as a voter.

The Legislative Council elections are the only ones held in St. Helena, as there are no local authorities, and (apart from ex officio members) the members of the Executive Council are nominated from the elected members of the Legislative Council by the said Council and appointed by the Governor.
