Dear irs. Hutchinson
With reference to your letter dated 19th Sept: 1939 and our recent visit to Hong Kong, my wife and family join me in expressing our appreciation of your kind co-operation regarding Ralph's grave and indeed, all the servicemen's graves in that section. I enclose photograph to show the improvment, please return, thank you.
We had an interview with Gordon Farri es and Alan Norwich and as a result of these discussions at the office in H.M.S. Tamar, during which we learned of changes which will take place in April and pessible the privatisation of the services in 1991, we decided to seek advice on what could be done. The enclosed newspaper article sums up the situation as we felt about then. Further action involves the Royal Air Force at Sek Kong and the Headquarters of British Forces in H.K. and the developments so far are very encouraging.
