I had a telephone call on 27 December from Gavin Porter, ODA, about developments involving Westwood, Rogers Marketing
(WPM), the Australian company who bought CAPHCO the former Crown Agents company which provides philatelic services to many dependencies. He has now followed up with a letter dated 22 December (copy attached). WRM are apparently in serious financial difficulties and may have to be wound up. There is no immediate threat to CAPHCO itself, according to Mr Porter, although there are bound to be some implications for the future, but he thought that we ought to be aware of the situation in case any of the dependencies made enquiries.
