d) Pitcan Islands and Grand Turk would still be affected. Both have stressed that adequate notice would need to be given and Pitcan Islands have also identified a problem of cost of reprinting QSL cards.
5. We should be grateful for your views by 26 October. We need to move ahead quickly on consultation with the Chinese. We have to bear in mind the possibility that the Chinese will reject this proposal as associating Hong Kong too closely after 1997 with an ex-colonial call sign. In that case we will be back to the drawing board.
